Winter!: Prepare for holiday gaming!
I really wanted to give this game a chance but every time I played it I ended up getting more frustrated (still going through the game to beat it with everyone...yes I am a glutton for punishment). Where do I start...hmmm, level grinding. I really hate games where you have to level grind in order to squeak past an area of the game (basically every level). And leveling up takes so long. The game is very repetitious and boring (see enemies, hack them to death, collect items, go to another area- rinse and repeat). When playing you will really hate the enemies that have projectile attacks because most of the time they won't be in your vicinity but you'll get shot by them. Then you say, "WTF was that!!!" The hit detection for your character is very flawed. Whenever you get hit the player gets put in a stun animation and does not have a moment of invincibility in order to recover and get away from the attacks. This leaves the player open to multiple attacks...some may not think this a problem but it is. I say it is because it's the way they programmed the enemies to attack the player. The A.I attacks in large groups and they don't all attack at once. So when you enter an area a large group of enemies mob you (about maybe 10 to 15 enemies at once and you have the projectile users off somewhere far from you). You get hit once, you're in a stun animation, once you're about to get out of the stun animation, another enemy hits you and you're stunned again (so imagine this with 15 enemies all around you). So for some people this gang bang attacking will result in death. This takes the whole fun factor out of a hack and slash game. I'm ending it here...I'm getting frustrated just writing about this game.
